We value and greatly appreciate our customers & community.  Here at Alohamondays we are implementing the following practices with extra effort & commitment to keeping our customers, employees & community safe:

**UPDATE**

Week 4.28.2020-5.1.2020

Hawaii County Emergency Proclamation  posted on April 25th states that:

“All customers shall wear a face covering as described and recommended  by the CDC while waiting to enter and while at an essential business or operation.” 

“All employees of essential businesses or operations who have any contact with customers or goods to be purchased shall wear the cloth face covering recommended by the CDC while at their place of employment.”

We are wearing our masks for you, please wear your masks for us as well as other customers.  We are sanitizing incoming products, the take out window & our counters and using gloves and hand sanitizing often. 

It all is done with care, and takes a bit of extra time so we appreciate your patience and understanding.

 

**UPDATE**

Week 4.21.2020-4.24.2020

1.  Second window so we can have a payment window & a pick up window, coming soon!

2.  Credit Card Payment on our order form is up and working as of last week!

3.  We are not always able to bring your orders out to your car with a text message…

     When we are busy in the kitchen, so please check-in with us at the window.

4.  Then if you are health compromised let us know and we will bring your order to your car

      when it is ready.  

5.  We will continue to have sealed utensil packets.

6.  We will continue Lunch Deliveries and ask you have someone meet us outside.

7.  Any of our Weekly Menu Items Can be ordered Family Style.  

     To Order Family Style: 

     a. Order 3-5 of an Item. 

     b. Do this for each menu item you want Family Style.

     c. Then in Notes say Family Style! 

**UPDATE**

Week 4.14.2020-4.17.2020 :

We are reopening this week for our regular menu & hours!  Here is an update:

1.  Take-Out-Window is installed at our main door entrance.
2.  We have painted Foot Marks 6ft apart along our sidewalk for pick up orders.
3.  You can now pay with Credit Card on our Order Form!!
4.  New sanitation room where all incoming products will go prior to the kitchen.
5.  We will continue to have sealed utensil packets.
6.  We will continue Lunch Deliveries and ask you have someone meet us outside.
     
**UPDATE**

This week 3.23.2020 we further our safety protocol with:

1.  We are installing a Take-Out-Window.
2.  Signatures are not needed for Credit Card Payments.
3.  Credit Card Payment on our website will be up and running soon.
4.  If possible please do not use cash payment.
5.  We will move to a cashless operation when the payment via website becomes
      available, for the time being.

1.  Social Distancing/Sanitation

     a.  Order ahead as usual and we will bring your order to your car or outside the kitchen.

  •         Please text 808.747.1873 when you arrive.
  •         We will appreciate your patience as the process may take us a bit longer.
  •         Parking available in parking lot and along the roadside past the two kitchen doors.
  •  

     b.  If an employee is not feeling well he/she will stay home.

     c.  In the kitchen employees will keep hands washed, sanitized &
          use gloves appropriately. Food handling surfaces fully sanitized throughout the day.

     d.  Kitchen entrance, for now, will be for employees & product deliveries only.

     e.  All utensils will be an individually sealed sanitary pack of compostable fork/knife & napkin.

     f.  We still offer deliveries and ask that you allow for flexibility on time,
         with anticipation of an increase in this service.  No charge in Hilo for orders over $75.
         Please plan to meet our delivery vehicle outside of your location.

2.  Payments

   Please note on your order form your payment preference.

          a. Credit Card- Invoice so you can make payment from home/office via square.

              If you wish to pay upon pick up with Credit Card…
              we will bring our phone or iPad out with your order to process. 

              Square is not currently requiring signatures with payment, so hands free!

          b. Check- please prepare ahead.

          c.  Cash- if possible, please have the exact amount in an envelope with your name.

               We appreciate your understanding in this matter

3.  General Community Safety

        a.  We as a team will make every effort to keep our take out & catering business going
             while practicing safety measures for our community, employees & customers.

        b.  Kanoa & I are committed to limit social exposure to business and at home family needs only.
